The institute attracts students from various parts of the country. The 'Traditional Day' is a riot of colours and showcases the multi-hued culture, language, customs and traditions of the students Monday is being observed as "Casual Dress" day. Respite from the intense curriculum schedule comes in the form of outings organized at the end of every month. On such occasions Faculty and Students go for excursions to some of the most picturesque locations across the country. Recently a trip was organised to Mahabaleshwar, a beautiful hill station in Maharashtra. The scenic splendour of the place was truly captivating and provided for a very enjoyable and memorable experience. Harmony in Diversity is evidenced in every sphere of our campus activities. | | Students organize activities to celebrate the spirit of friendship, togetherness and bonhomie. This is a tradition that has been carried on for the past several years. The BIIB Choir "Shadows" consists of artists accomplished in their own right. It boasts of male and female vocalists experienced both in Western and Indian classical music, guitarists, percussionists and sound technicians. | | We are inspired by second of the 3 S’s of Finland (Sauna, Sisu and Sibelius), a country which overcame decades of difficulties to become a world-class economy. SISU conveys a grit and determination to reach goals, staying power and a ‘can - do’ culture. It has been compared to "a meta-physical shot in the arm, which makes a man do the impossible." It surpasses fearlessness and extraordinary endurance; an inner fire of courage, tenacity, determination and energy - a will and an ability to get things done". | | We at BIIB are spurred on by the SISU belief. A "can do attitude" permeates our entire system. Only world class achievements can get us anywhere. Students have “You must read this”. Communications wherein news paper cuttings, articles, new developments etc. are displayed for the week. Also we have a talking wall in the Institute!
