Eligibility
Pre-entry
1.
Should be a graduate in any discipline from any University with a minimum of 50% of marks.
2.
Those who have successfully completed their three-year full-time Hotel Management degree or diploma programme are also eligible.
3.
In case of postgraduates, the marks obtained should be more than 50% in either graduation or in post graduation.
4.
The management may, however, relax the percentage of marks in case of exceptionally deserving cases very rarely.
5.
Candidates appearing for the final year Degree examination up to June, 2007 can also apply. However, if they fail to match the above qualitative requirement when the result is declared for the graduation examination, they will be relieved from the course compulsorily. Same will be the case in respect of those who fail in their degree examination. The mark sheets should be submitted to the Institute latest by 30 October. 2007.

Only those who have more than two years of industrial work experience in the field of sales, marketing, finance and related areas of management are eligible to apply for our PGDM Executive Batch (Full Time). These applicants should submit the industry experience certificate signed by the Director (HR) of the Company(s) and copies of their Appointment Letters along with the application form. There will be no difference in the course curriculum for this batch and they will receive the same input as applicable to the PGDM (Dual) Programme except the fact that they can expect lateral placements.

Our management courses demand adherence to discipline and code of conduct, total and un-diverted commitment, attention and dedication towards studies, practicals, presentations and goal achievement in order to ensure adequate training in the field of management and to enhance good placement opportunities in the corporate world.

Students applying for these programmes should, therefore, be physically fit and mentally robust, capable of undergoing grueling schedules of academic inputs, internship and other training schedules throughout the programme. Medical fitness is thus a must. Otherwise please avoid taking admission to our courses. Admissions of those who are frequently absent on any ground including on sickness will be cancelled even during the progress of the course not withstanding the fact that they may have completed a few months in the Institute.

No request on account of medical ground for attendance will be accepted. Parents are advised to please care for the children who have a medical history and not to encourage to take up our Management Programmes which are very hectic in nature because such students undergo lot of peer pressures and tension leading to depression and psychiatric problems. They are also unable to focus on studies and are in a fix of not being in a position to express their difficulties either to the parents or to the management as the attendance requirement are stringent in nature and cannot be changed.

The following medical requirements need to be met:-
All students should vaccinate themselves against common diseases like Hepatitis, Chicken-pox and Typhoid prior to entering the college.
Dengue and Malaria are common problems in Maharastra. Prevention is the only way to encounter these diseases;
Simple measures which need to be taken seriously
 
  • Mosquito nets
  • Mosquito repellants and Mats.
  • These diseases are not contagious (spreading directly from one person to another)
    Certain diseases-like diarrhea do occur during the rainy seasons. Again prevention should be the aim.
    The hostel has 2 messes-which cater to the students:
     
  • The hygiene aspect in these messes are any time better than outsideeating places. Hence it would be the
          student’s prerogative to choose where he/she wants to eat.
  • It has been noticed in the past that some students have had serious medical Problems in the past and have not revealed the same during the admission. It is advisable-that if anyone has any of these serious problems they should not take admission in our institute because the institute cannot take care of their medical problems. However, if anyone develops during the course this kind of Illness should be brought to the notice of the institute doctor.
    The kind of diseases are:-
     
  • Epilepsy
  • Gall-bladder/kidney Stones
  • Heart Problems(Rheumatic/Valvular Heart Diseases)
  • Asthma
  • Old History of Tuberculosis.
  • Blood pressure
  • Depression/Mood Disorders.
  • Severe jaundice in the past.
  •  The college offers only O.P.D Medical Facilities to the students at stipulated time daily. Student having
           medical problems should use this facility to the best.
  • Any medical emergencies if and when arise are likely to be managed as in hospital basis (Hospitalization).
  • Students in Medical distress are expected to take care of themselves supported by their room-mates if they are non hostilities. If brought to the notice of the institute, the institute will render all the assistance as required and possible but the hospitalization charges will have to be ultimately met by the students/parents.
