Procedure |
Sri
Balaji Society is proud of her children viz sister institutions
/ colleges. And each child is important to the parent
viz the management. That is why Prof. (Col) A. Balasubramanian,
who is the founder of the society holds the triple responsibilities
viz the President of Sri Balaji Society; the Executive
Director of BIMM and the Dean of BIIB, BITM, and BIMHRD. That is why we
have Prof. Suresh Chandra Padhy, the Director - Academics
of the Society, Prof. Biju Pillai, the Director - Information
Technology of the Society function centrally besides the
members of the managing committee of Sri Balaji Society. |

| Our experts panel will draw merit list for each centre
and declare results for each centre as we feel that
each geographical spreads deserve special treatment. |

To ensure the best possible selection
process of Sri Balaji Society we hold common selection
process for all the Management Institutes of Sri Balaji
Society that starts with Balaji Admission Tests (BAT).
Followed by this Group Discussions and Personal Interviews
will be held. The experienced panel members are competent
to assess the suitability of the candidates. |

| Balaji Admission Test (BAT) |
| Balaji Admission Test (BAT) will
be conducted for short listing of candidates for GD
and Interview in all of the selection centres which
are notified. The test will be used for the common admission
process of the following institutions of Sri Balaji
Society:- |

(a) Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB)
(b)
Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM)
(c) Balaji Institute of Telecom & Management (BITM)
(d)
Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resource Development
(BIMHRD) The contents of BAT will be at
par with CAT. The same pattern will be followed. However
'general knowledge' will constitute an additional part
of the paper. Students are advised to read Economic
Times and to follow business related reading to prepare
for the part of General Knowledge. |

All the institutes of Sri Balaji
Society will also accept CAT / XAT / MAT / SNAP scores
which can be attached to the application form or brought
by hand and submitted before the GD at the reception
counter of the Institute. Such students may opt out
of BAT if so desired. Yet it is desirable that the aspirants
attend the BAT. If any student applies to BAT additionally,
the best out of the two scores will be considered. However
procuring our application form and submission of the
same by due date with registration fee of Rs.600/- can
not be dispensed with and hence is mandatory. |

All the four institutes (BIIB /BIMM
/ BITM /BIMHRD) will have common selection process
(that is BAT followed by GD / PI) at a time in all the
selection centres as per the schedule. |
